My name is Jason Brown and I am the owner/operator of Precious Pet Petsitting. I have a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management. For the last 15 years I have worked at various pet stores and kennels. I have a lot of experience with many types of animals.
My work experience includes caring for pets at people’s homes, working with animals at kennel facilities and local pet stores, as well as caring for exotic animals at local Zoo.
I am well educated and trained in animal care for various species that includes dogs & cats, and small mammals including exotics (like sugar gliders, hedgehogs ,etc..), ferrets, birds, fresh water fish, reptiles and amphibans.

I am Jason’s wife. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama.
I attended Auburn University and earned a Bachelor’s of Science
in Zoology and then went on to Veterinary School at Auburn. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. I worked in private practices for many years, even owning my own practice at one time. I decided to try something new and went into teaching veterinary technicians for several years. Since my husband Jason’s business has become very busy, I decided to switch gears and join the business.
Pet sitting has become very rewarding and less stressful than any other job. I enjoy meeting our clients and their beloved pets. I feel that pet sitters help the pets feel less anxious while their owners are away. I am also qualified to administer medications and treatments as necessary. I also provide dog walking and exercise, as well as cat care and exotics.
Jason and I have a Great Dane, a Lab mix, and 3 cats. We also have experience with the care of many types of exotics. We enjoy gardening, cooking, movies, music and we obviously love animals. I have also been perfecting some homemade dog biscuit recipe’s.
